Potential contractors must maintain an active System for Award Management (SAM) registration and submit electronic quotes by 1:00 PM CDT on 20 June 2025. Vendors can submit questions about the RFQ until 1:00 PM CDT on 4 June 2025, with answers to be posted by 4:30 PM CDT on 6 June 2025.
The contract is set aside exclusively for small businesses within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333415, which covers air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment manufacturing with a size standard of no more than 1,250 employees. The procurement is for a firm-fixed-price purchase order with a performance completion date of 9 months after award. While the specific award value is not detailed, the solicitation is part of a broader Air Force HVAC chiller standardization initiative targeting 1,654 chiller units across 87 installations. The place of performance is Goodfellow AFB in Texas, with the government explicitly noting that funds are currently unavailable and reserving the right to cancel the solicitation at any time. The chiller specifications include detailed requirements for capacity, refrigerant type, compressor configuration, trailer specifications, and accompanying accessories.
