About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force, United States Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces Africa, seeks quotations for 2-Piece Flight Duty Uniforms (2PFDUs) in Operational Camouflage Pattern, with the quotation deadline extended to September 24, 2026 at 1400 EST. The procurement is Full & Open with no set-asides; small business rules do not apply as this is an overseas acquisition.
Place of performance is Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany (54529 Spangdahlem-Gelsdorf). The uniforms must be constructed of smooth flame-resistant Nomex fabric and non-Ripstop material. Ripstop fabric, which incorporates reinforced grid or crosshatch weave patterns, is not acceptable; the Government requires smooth fabric to maintain consistency with existing Fire Department inventory. The requirement comprises 118 total garments across flame-resistant Nomex combat coats and pants in various sizes and lengths, detailed in Attachment 1 (List of Materials, which has been corrected to reflect National Stock Numbers in the 8415-01-641-XXXX series). Delivery is FOB Destination to Spangdahlem Air Base.
This is a Firm-Fixed-Price commercial acquisition valued at or below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $350,000, issued under RFQ Subpart 12.2. Award will be made to the quoter offering the lowest price among those determined to be responsible and responsive, evaluated on compliance with solicitation instructions, pricing for all required items, delivery schedule adherence, and adherence to fabric and specification requirements. All quoters must maintain active registration in SAM.gov with valid UEI and CAGE codes at time of submission and award. The Contracting Officer is Ayanna Smith (ayanna.smith.1@us.af.mil, 314-452-9524). NAICS code is 315250 (Cut and Sew Apparel Manufacturing); PSC is 8405 (Outerwear, Men's).

Update #3 · Latest ·
The 52d Civil Engineering Squadron, Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES) Flight requires the procurement of 2-Piece Flight Duty
Uniforms (2PFDUs) in the Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP). Please see find Attachment 1 - List of Materials for a full list.
The required uniforms must be constructed of smooth flame-resistant Nomex fabric and non-Ripstop material.
Smooth fabric refers to a uniform fabric construction that does not incorporate the reinforced grid or crosshatch weave characteristic of ripstop material. Ripstop fabric contains thicker reinforcement threads woven into the material, creating a visible or textured square or rectangular grid pattern. The Government requires fabric without these reinforced grid patterns to maintain material consistency with the Fire Department's existing inventory.
Ripstop fabric is not acceptable. All other technical requirements identified in the solicitation and attached List of Materials remain unchanged.
