About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District is increasing the capacity of its 2019 PRAC MATOC (Preplaced Remedial Action Contracts), an 8(a) small business set-aside IDIQ, by $10 million, raising the total from $75 million to $85 million. The capacity increase supports in-scope modifications to seven existing task orders and the exercise of unexercised reserved options held by Bethel Tech, Brice AECOM, Innovex ERRG, Noreas APTIM, Northwind CDM, Olgoonik FPM, and SRS CAPE. The justification cites cost-prohibition of full and open competition, citing existing contractor familiarity with ongoing projects, mobilization costs for new contractors, and higher labor rates relative to the 2019 PRAC base year. Work encompasses hazardous, toxic, and radioactive waste remediation, environmental restoration under the Defense Environmental Restoration Program, and environmental compliance support across 15 states and EPA Region 2. The Contracting Officer approved the action on June 13, 2026, following publication of a Notice of Intent on SAM.gov in accordance with FAR Part 6 procedures.
