About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking a sole source repair of two rotary wing aircraft blades (Part Number 70361-25002-044, NSN 7RE 1615 011589679 VH) under a Foreign Military Sales case for Germany. This Request for Quotation involves evaluation, labor, materials, and parts necessary to restore government-owned blades to operational condition. The procurement is designated as a Critical Safety Item requiring heightened quality assurance surveillance. The contract will be awarded under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement on a firm fixed price basis. Proposals are due by November 8, 2025, with the period of performance spanning from December 3, 2025 to January 5, 2026, allowing for a 365-calendar day delivery schedule. Prospective vendors should direct inquiries to Mrs. Dana Scott at dana.l.scott14.civ@us.navy.mil.

This is not a small business set-aside, and the requirement is being pursued on a sole source basis because the government lacks sufficient, accurate, or legible data to contract with alternative sources. No specific award value has been disclosed in the solicitation notice. The procurement involves two units of the specified blade requiring repair and restoration. Interested contractors who are not approved sources must submit source approval documentation as detailed in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure, which can be obtained from the Naval Supply Systems Command website; failure to provide all required data will result in proposal rejection. The place of performance is within the United States. One or more items are subject to Free Trade Agreements and the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement, with government source approval required prior to award.
