About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Drum seeks 155mm linear variable displacement transducers equipment, with proposals due July 1, 2026. The procurement is a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting competition to certified small businesses.
Place of performance is Yuma, Arizona (301 C Street, Yuma, AZ 85365). The solicitation requires two distinct deliverables: a 155mm Calibration Guide Tube Assembly that permits removal of the calibration ring while attached to the cannon muzzle and accommodates crawler and LBIS/LVDT sensors; and a 155mm Self-Propelled Sensor Delivery Unit capable of pushing or pulling 120mm sensors over an axial distance of no less than 35 feet. The SDU must include a muzzle adapter compatible with 155mm gun tubes, interface with existing YPG-owned LBIS/LVDT/VBIS sensors, provide a flexible cable with non-scratch protective cover, and enable data acquisition across the full 155mm bore length and to the muzzle. Linear resolution must be 0.010 inch or better, with unidirectional position repeatability of 0.040 inch or better. The NAICS code is 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing; the PSC code is 6650, Optical Instruments, Test Equipment, Components and Accessories.
