The Notice was posted on July 24, 2025, by the Department of the Army North Carolina Army National Guard.
The primary objective of this Special Notice is to provide advance notification of the government's intent to sole source this specialized equipment relocation contract while allowing qualified sources an opportunity to respond if they believe they can provide the required services. Any qualified contractors must submit their responses no later than August 7, 2025, via email to both MSgt Sarah Marshall and Capt. Scott Thomas, with no telephone or fax inquiries accepted. Market research conducted by the government, including a sources sought notice posted to SAM.gov for eight days, received zero responses, further supporting the sole source determination. The government retains sole discretion in determining whether to compete this proposed contract based on any responses received to this notice. The contract falls under NAICS code 811310 for Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance, reflecting the specialized nature of the Kardex equipment servicing requirements.
