About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Joint Munitions Command published a Special Notice requesting information regarding implementation of a Measurement System Evaluation Clause on a 120mm Tank Training Ammunition program spanning fiscal years 2022 through 2026. The Special Notice seeks input on any cost impacts and concerns with using the MSE Clause in place of previous Acceptance Inspection Equipment clauses.
The Special Notice requests that contractors provide questions or concerns about complying with the MSE Clause and estimate associated cost impacts compared to previous AIE clauses by April 12, 2021. There are no set-aside requirements, and the objective is to reduce program risk for the 120mm tank ammunition acquisition through five fiscal years. Contractors are asked to include as much detail and context as possible in their responses, using the attached MSE Review Guide for reference. Technical questions may be directed to the points of contact provided.
