About this file

This Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) outlines requirements for a Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to be conducted on an Acceptance Inspection Equipment (AIE). The MSA must be approved by the Government before the corresponding AIE can be used for acceptance of product. If the AIE is later disapproved, the MSA must also be disapproved. After resubmission and approval of the AIE, a new MSA must be conducted and submitted. The Contractor must submit the initial MSA package within 30 calendar days of Government approval of the AIE, and the Government will provide disposition within 30 calendar days of receipt. Subsequent MSA submissions are required as needed. The document identifies distribution requirements and points of contact for the Government agency and prime contractor.

The related Request for Information solicitation seeks input from contractors on implementing a Measurement System Evaluation Clause, including any cost impacts and differences from previous Acceptance Inspection Equipment clauses. Responses should include details and context, using the provided MSE Review Guide for reference. Technical questions may be directed to the listed Government points of contact. The soliciting agency is the Department of the Army Materiel Command Joint Munitions Command.
