About this file
This document is a Project Manual for the Brandon Coates Community Park Driveway-Access Road Repair project in Orange County, Florida, prepared on July 14, 2022, with a final version dated August 24, 2022. The project involves removing the existing gravel-lime rock access driveway and replacing it with select coarse aggregate base material. The County is accepting sealed electronic responses for the project through the OpenGov e-Procurement Platform until 4:00 pm EST on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, with an estimated project cost of $420,000.00. The contract will be executed under a single lump sum contract, with comprehensive specifications covering site clearing, earthwork, erosion control, and various administrative and construction requirements.
The project includes specific technical specifications for site preparation, materials selection, quality control, and construction methods. Contractors are required to provide comprehensive documentation, including detailed submittals, daily construction reports, and project close-out materials. The scope requires strict adherence to erosion control measures, maintenance of traffic protocols, and environmental protection standards. Funding appears to be from county sources, with no indication of alternative funding streams or specific budget allocations beyond the estimated project cost. The project manual emphasizes detailed documentation, quality control, and compliance with local and state regulations throughout the construction process.
