About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a roof repair project for Building F542 at Vance Air Force Base in Oklahoma. The project involves completely replacing the existing standing seam metal roof, which consists of three distinct roof sections: two lower roofs running east-west and north-south with a 4:12 pitch and a ridge height of approximately 24 feet, and a third parachute tower roof with a 4:12 pitch and a ridge height of approximately 46 feet.

The comprehensive scope of work includes replacing all edge flashing, fascia panels, gutters, and downspouts, ensuring a watertight transition between the roof and vertical brick wall. Additional requirements include repairing full-depth cracks in brick veneer, creating new movement joints, removing and replacing sealant at various wall joints and penetrations, cleaning biological residue from exterior walls, and potentially replacing up to 10% of existing stone coping. The project has a total duration of 180 calendar days, with 120 days allocated for design, mobilization, and material procurement, and 60 calendar days for actual construction work. All materials must comply with the Buy American Act, and work must be performed to a workmanlike standard meeting specified warranty requirements.
