About this file
This is a Worker Protection and Investment Certification Form (BOP-2201) required by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for contractors and grantees under Executive Order 2021-06. Contractors must acknowledge understanding of reporting requirements regarding any changes in compliance status and confirm awareness that false certifications are subject to penalties under Pennsylvania law.
The certification carries significant enforcement consequences, including contract termination and three-year ineligibility to bid on Commonwealth contracts under 62 Pa. C.S. 531. The form requires signature from an authorized official of the contractor or grantee, along with printed name, title, date, and contractor or grantee name. This certification is applicable to the landscaping services solicitation for PennDOT District 8 Welcome Center Site G in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, which is set aside as a Micro Business Reserve requiring Department of General Services (DGS) Micro Business certification prior to the bid closing date.
