· (1) electric heating unit capable of heating the space for a local climate of -20° F
· (1) electric cooling unit capable of cooling the space for a local climate of 120° F
· (1) exhaust unit with manually controlled thermostat. Thermostat shall be set to turn system on at 80° F. Exterior exhaust system switch shall be set to override thermostat. Exhaust intake shall be no greater than 12 inches above the bottom of the sump.
4. Fresh Air Intake:
· Locate just below the ceiling level on the opposite wall from exhaust fan.
· Intakes to be a UL-listed fire damper design with removable insect screens that will allow the damper to close when exposed to fire.
· Fusible link to melt at 165ºF.
· Size the explosion proof mechanical ventilation and air intakes to provide at least six air changes an hour, but not less than 150 cubic feet per minute of exhaust.
· Exhaust vent to have louvered dampers that automatic open when the fan is in operation and close when the fan is off.
· Exhaust vents are also to be equipped with a weather protective shroud.
· The exterior side of the intakes should be equipment with hinged panels that may be positively latched in the closed position of over each intake in the winter and latch flat against the side of the building in the open position during the warmer times of the year.
