The Wire Saw component must be a compact, mobile system capable of cutting steel and concrete for both small and large operations. It shall be powered by a hydraulic motor delivering minimum 20 kilowatts output power and 190 Newton-Meters spindle starting torque, with water cooling at minimum 30 psi pressure. The saw must feature a variable gearbox enabling wire speeds of 65–80 feet per second, weigh no more than 330 pounds, perform both vertical and horizontal cuts, and include safety features such as internal component guards, adjustable hydraulic pressure monitoring, a tension indicator, storage for minimum 52 feet of diamond wire, adjustment screws for leveling, anchoring capability, wheels and handle for single-person transport, and a comprehensive tool kit with physical and digital operator's manuals.
The Power Pack, powered by an electric motor, must supply power to the Wire Saw from up to 20 feet away and deliver minimum 25 kilowatt hydraulic output. It shall include emergency stop and ON/OFF buttons, a fully wired remote control with minimum 25-foot power cable, analog display, three-phase voltage monitoring, emergency stop capability, motor overheating fail-safe, two lifting contact points, a 4-pin 480V (32-63A) three-phase electrical plug, wheels and handle for single-person transport, and weigh no more than 310 pounds including oil.
Required accessories include two offset pulley fixtures (6–12mm wire diameter compatibility), one hydraulic crimping tool for 10.3mm wire, 150 crimps (8.0/5.0 x 24mm), 300 feet of 10.3mm diameter diamond wire (0.4-inch bead diameter, compatible with wet or dry coolant), three mountable wire redirection fixtures for 2" x 2" square tubing, pre-installed hydraulic lines rated minimum 3,340 PSI with connectors, one water nozzle for cutting area cooling, minimum two days of operational and maintenance training, and performance verification. The vendor must be the manufacturer or an authorized reseller of the wire saw system.
