*The existing roads and parking area were not excluded from the estimated size.
II. SCHEDULE
The Contractor will develop and maintain a project schedule, and submit the draft schedule within one (1) week of contract award. The schedule will include the fieldwork, deliverables, review periods, and other milestones. The draft schedule will be revised to incorporate any changes requested by FHWA to the extent possible, and work cannot proceed until FHWA has approved the schedule. The Contractor is responsible for updating the schedule as necessary.
The contractor must inform the FHWA and FWS, by phone or email, of the date fieldwork will begin at least two weeks prior to the date.
III. WETLAND DELINEATION
A. The preparation of the jurisdictional wetland and WOUS delineation and boundaries shall be in accordance with Chapter NR 103, Wis. Adm. Code, Chapter NR 352, Wis, Adm.
Code, the 1987 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineation Manual, and appropriate Regional Supplement. The Contractor will make a recommendation regarding the presence of wetlands and boundary determination. Wetland delineations and reports must follow the Basic Guide to Wisconsin’s Wetlands and Their Boundaries and the Guidance for Submittal of Delineation Reports to the Stevens Point District Army Corps of Engineers and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. For aquatic resources other than wetlands, Ordinary High Water Mark (OHWM) will be identified (See Regulatory Guidance Letter 05-05). The State of Wisconsin defines the OHWM as the point on the bank or shore up to which the presence and action of the water is so continuous as to leave a distinct mark either by erosion, destruction of terrestrial vegetation or other easily recognized characteristics.
B. Wetland functional values will be assessed using the Wisconsin Wetland Rapid
Assessment Methodology (WRAM) Version 2. WRAM data forms will be provided as an appendix to the report.
C. Wetland Confirmation – The contractor will coordinate with Wisconsin Department of
Natural Resources (DNR) to schedule an on-site inspection of the wetland boundaries delineated by the Contractor in the draft Wetland Delineation Report. The contractor is responsible for paying any fees necessary to complete this work ($300 per 20 acres of land). A written statement of confirmation will be obtained from DNR prior to submitting the Final Wetland Delineation Report. If the wetland delineation is completed by an assured delineator, a DNR wetland boundary confirmation is not required.
D. Jurisdictional Determination Request - The form “Request for Corps of Engineers
Wetland Delineation Review” will be drafted by the Contractor and provided with the Draft Wetland Delineation Report. Submission of the request to the U.S. Army Corps of
