Q1. "The project scope includes constructing a new access road and parking area and installing railroad crossing signals along State Highway 35. The project work includes grading, 6- inch aggregate surface course, 10-foot wide asphalt concrete pavement, 3-foot wide aggregate shoulders, one culvert, topsoil, turf establishment, railroad crossing signal with gate, and other miscellaneous work." I believe this is only for the small delineation effort, correct?
A1. If I am understanding the posed question correctly, yes, the advert. is only for the delineation.
Q2. Do you GIS files for the project limits for the delineation?
A2. FHWA can provide a shape file of the limits of disturbance.
Q3. When is the preferred field delineation date - fall of 2024 or spring 2025?
A3. Ideally, they’d want to get this done before mid-October if they do it in the fall. If they can get the task performed prior to October 15th give or take, then fall 24 is preferred.
Q4. Would you provide more information on the preferred format of a response? Are you requesting price(s) in columns E and F of the RFQ form “RFQ+NO+693C7324Q000028”? Is there also an opportunity to submit our qualifications? If so, is there a preferred format?
A4. PDF format would be preferred. Yes, I’d like one consolidated price for this contract. Yes, you can submit qualifications in PDF form too.
Q5. Is there anyone that should be contacted prior to applying for the delineation work in Shelby, WI (Notice ID - 693C7324Q000028)?
