About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division. The document (Wage Determination No. 2015-5377, Revision 30, dated December 3, 2025) establishes prevailing wage rates for service contract work in South Dakota counties including Bennett, Butte, Corson, Dewey, Fall River, Gregory, Haakon, Harding, Jackson, Jones, Lawrence, Lyman, Mellette, Oglala Lakota, Perkins, Stanley, Todd, Tripp, and Ziebach.

The wage determination lists over 300 occupational classifications organized into 17 major occupational categories (Administrative Support and Clerical, Automotive Service, Food Preparation and Service, Furniture Maintenance and Repair, General Services and Support, Health Occupations, Information and Arts, Information Technology, Instructional, Laundry and Dry-Cleaning, Machine Tool Operation and Repair, Materials Handling and Packing, Mechanics and Maintenance and Repair, Personal Needs, Plant and System Operations, Protective Service, Recreation, Stevedoring/Longshoremen, and Technical Occupations). Hourly wage rates range from $12.57 (Dishwasher) to $47.79 (Nuclear Medicine Technologist). All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours weekly) or $962.00 monthly, plus two weeks paid vacation after one year of service (three weeks after ten years, four weeks after fifteen years), and a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually. Computer professionals, air traffic controllers, and weather observers have special compensation requirements and night/Sunday pay provisions noted. Employees in hazardous positions receive 4-8 percent pay differentials. Uniform allowances are standardized at $3.35 weekly ($0.67 daily) for cleaning and maintenance, though "wash and wear" uniforms do not require reimbursement. The determination includes a conformance process requiring contractors to seek Wage and Hour Division approval for unlisted occupational classifications prior to contract performance.
