About this file
This document is a Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) Single Source Determination for a federal contract opportunity at Naval Radio Station Jim Creek in Snohomish County, Washington. The estimated value of the contract is $33,240. The objective is to perform natural resources support projects including habitat restoration and enhancement, vegetation management, forestry support, and recreation enhancement. The Washington Conservation Corps (WCC) is identified as the only responsible source capable of meeting the requirements, which are aligned with the installation's Integrated Natural Resource Management Plan and environmental compliance needs. WCC provides administrative services, training, and cost-sharing through state funding and an AmeriCorps grant, allowing the Navy to receive their expertise and high-quality work at a reduced cost. The contracting officer has determined that no other sources are available to fulfill these unique natural resources requirements.
