About this file
This is an Addendum to a Request for Proposals issued by the City of Watertown, Wisconsin Department of Wastewater for a three-year biosolids hauling and land application contract. The RFP solicits qualified vendors to provide cake biosolids hauling services for the 2021-2023 contract period, with an option to extend the contract for an additional two years. The proposal due date is January 19, 2021. The RFP requires all vendors to thoroughly review the complete Request for Proposals and adhere to all contained instructions.
Addendum #2, issued January 15, 2021, addresses two key clarifications regarding proposal submissions. First, regarding customer confidentiality, the City intends to withhold proposal contents from public view to the extent permitted by Wisconsin Public Records Laws; if sections of Form C are left blank to protect existing client confidentiality, bidders must provide a brief written explanation for the withholding. The City reserves the right to request additional information to clarify bidder eligibility or to disqualify bidders from consideration, with supplemental documentation potentially requested in electronic or written format. Second, the addendum clarifies that bonding is not a requirement for this procurement and may be left blank on submission forms.
