About this file

This document outlines requirements for plugging and abandoning an orphaned oil well located on federal land in Wyoming. The work includes mobilizing personnel and equipment to the well site, preparing the site, removing well infrastructure and fluids, plugging the well at specified depths with cement, installing a permanent marker, and restoring the surface. Equipment required includes a workover rig, blowout preventer, cementing units, mud systems, and storage tanks. The plugging procedure specifies depths for setting plugs, testing the cement, and cutting and capping the wellhead. Site restoration involves removing equipment, grading, spreading topsoil, seeding with a specified dryland pasture mix, and ensuring positive drainage. Payment will be made as a lump sum upon completion of the plugging and abandonment of the specified well in accordance with the contract requirements.
