About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division for Georgia counties of Houston and Peach. The determination (No. 2015-4495, Revision 30, last revised 12/03/2025) establishes prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits for federal service contracts performed in the specified geographic area.

The document lists prevailing wage rates for approximately 280 occupational classifications across multiple job categories including administrative support, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance, general services, health occupations, information technology, instructional occupations, laundry and dry cleaning, machine tool operation, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring, technical occupations, and transportation. Wage rates range from $9.72 per hour (Waiter/Waitress, Code 07260) to $50.88 per hour (Registered Nurse IV, Code 12316). All occupations receive health and welfare benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours weekly or $222 weekly/$962 monthly), vacation accrual of 2-4 weeks depending on service length, and a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually. Select occupations carrying footnotes receive special provisions including computer employees exempt under Fair Labor Standards Act requirements; air traffic controllers and weather observers receiving night pay differentials and Sunday premium pay; and hazardous pay differentials of 4-8 percent for specified dangerous work. Uniform allowance provisions permit reimbursement of $3.35 per week for cleaning and maintenance costs under specified conditions. The determination includes conformance procedures requiring contractors to classify unlisted employee positions through Standard Form 1444 submission to the Department of Labor for approval within 30 days of performing such work.
