About this file

This document is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act (SCA) issued by the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment Standards Administration, effective May 13, 2026. The register contains prevailing wage rates for multiple geographic areas across South Dakota and Nebraska, covering numerous occupational classifications across administrative, automotive, food service, healthcare, information technology, maintenance, protective services, and transportation sectors.

The wage determinations establish minimum hourly rates ranging from approximately $12.00 to $56.98 per hour depending on occupation and location. All occupations listed receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week, or $222.00 weekly/$962.00 monthly) or, under Executive Order 13786, $5.09 per hour (up to 40 hours per week, or $203.60 weekly/$882.27 per month). The determinations apply to federal service contracts in the specified counties within South Dakota (Union, Brule, Buffalo, Campbell, Charles Mix, Douglas, Hand, Hughes, Hyde, Potter, Sully, Walworth, and others) and Nebraska (Boyd, Brown, Garfield, Holt, Keya Paha, Loup, Rock, Burt, Butler, Cedar, Colfax, Cuming, Dodge, Madison, Pierce, Stanton, Thurston, Wayne, and others). Additional provisions address paid vacation (2-4 weeks based on tenure), paid holidays (minimum eleven per year), hazardous duty differentials (4-8 percent), uniform allowances, and conformance procedures for unlisted occupational classifications using Standard Form 1444.
