About this file
This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act (SCA) issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division for Minnesota counties (Le Sueur, Mille Lacs, Sherburne). The wage determination, numbered 2015-4947 with revision 30 dated December 3, 2025, establishes prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits for service contract employees across numerous occupational classifications. The document lists over 200 job titles spanning administrative, automotive, food service, furniture maintenance, general services, health, information technology, instructional, laundry, machine tool operation, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring, technical, and transportation occupations, with hourly rates ranging from $12.71 to $52.45.
All occupations listed receive standard fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week, totaling $222.00 weekly or $962.00 monthly) plus an 8% hazard pay differential for positions involving explosives and ordnance, and a 4% differential for close proximity to hazardous materials. Computer-related positions (identified with footnote 1) are subject to exemption provisions under 29 U.S.C. Section 213, requiring compensation of at least $27.63 per hour or $684 weekly on salary basis. Air traffic controllers and weather observers receive night pay (10% differential) and Sunday pay (25% premium). Additional requirements include two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after five years, and four weeks after 15 years; a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually; and uniform allowance reimbursement at $3.35 per week where required. Executive Orders 13706 and 13658 establish sick leave and minimum wage requirements for SCA-covered contracts. Conformance requests for unlisted classifications must follow Standard Form 1444 procedures submitted to the Wage and Hour Division within 30 days of contract award.
