About this file
This is a Register of Wage Determinations issued by the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment Standards Administration under the Service Contract Act. The document applies to service contracts in Androscoggin County, Maine (Auburn, Greene, Leeds, Lewiston, Lisbon, Mechanic Falls, Minot, Poland, Sabattus, Turner, and Wales) and is effective as of December 3, 2025, under Wage Determination No. 2015-4003, Revision 32.
The wage determination establishes prevailing wage rates for 120+ occupational classifications organized by occupational categories, including administrative support, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance, general services, health occupations, information technology, instructional services, laundry and dry cleaning, machine tool operation, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring, technical occupations, and transportation. Wage rates range from $11.68 hourly (Carnival Worker) to $60.97 hourly (Nuclear Medicine Technologist). All occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours weekly) or $222.00 weekly/$962.00 monthly for health and welfare; an alternative rate of $5.09 per hour applies for employees on Service Contract Act-covered contracts also covered by Executive Order 13706. Employees receive two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after ten years, and four weeks after fifteen years, plus a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually. Computer systems analysts and programmers earning at least $27.63 per hour, air traffic controllers, and weather observers receive additional compensation provisions. Hazardous duty differentials of 8 percent or 4 percent apply to specific ordnance and explosive-related positions. Uniform allowances of $3.35 per week or $0.67 per day are required unless uniforms are routinely washed with personal garments and require no special treatment.
