LATRINES
Quesons and Answers
Q. In CLIN 0001, you specify Latrine - rental/cleaning regular quantity 90. Are you seeking 90 rental toilets and cleaning, or are you specifying just 90 cleanings to be used whenever? If you are seeking a quantity of 90 cleanings, what is the schedule and frequency?
A. All portable latrines are cleaned and serviced once a week. (service: would be soap and paper products) FYI, the current contractor has a schedule of Monday thru Wednesday @ AA APG and EA APG on Thursday.
Q. Also in CLIN 0001, you specify Latrine with sink, but you also specify latrine-hand wash stations.
Are you seeking latrines with sinks inside and for the latter, are you looking for just hand wash stations?
A. There are 15 separate wash stations and 15 portable latrines that have a internal wash station w/o a urinal.
Q. For the ATC owned units, what is the water capacity for each unit for us to plan your reill service? Also, what is the frequency of servicing those? Also, what is the gallons/capacity of those units so we can plan to send the correct service assets?
A. Most Trailers have a 500 gallon water tank, although we have two smaller units on Spesue Island that are 250 gallons.
Q. Is there an incumbent for this contract? If so, what is the length and total contract value?
A. Yes W91CRB-24-F-0015 contract length is 1 Nov 23 to 3 May 2024 and value $36,400.98
Q. We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services. If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?
A. W91CRB-24-F-0015
Q. The initial documentation states that a total of up to 105 permanent units are required. This comprises 90 standard units and an additional 15 units, including those with sinks. Additionally, it mentions the need for 15 hand wash stations.
It seems that the total number of units specified is incorrect. The breakdown should be as follows:
• 90 standard units
• 15 units with sinks
• 15 hand wash stations
This totals 120 units, not 105 as originally stated.
A. We only counted portable latrines =105 if you count portable latrines plus wash stations it’s 120 units.
Q. How many water tanks will you need?
A. No water tanks needed, just the ability to fill water tanks on portable bathrooms.
Q. The $36,400.98 menoned represents the monthly payment amount?
A. No this was 6 months 1 Nov 23 to 3 May 24.
Q. Do you mean addional cleaning aside from the once-a-week cleaning for the 10 latrine with sink ATC Owned latrine trailers, fresh water fills 10?
A Addional cleanings for units with sink which is 10. Yes we have 10 ATC owned units , although we are only servicing 5 at this me. Water adds, cleanings and services.
Q. ATC Owned latrine trailers, cleaning/pumping 15 Is this 15 ATC trailer different from the 10 ATC trailer bringing the total ATC trailer to 25?
A No we only have 10 ATC portable bathrooms, there are 15 Temporary portable latrines (port-a-pot) not part of the 90 permanent units and 15 w sink permanents.
Q. How many stall are there on the trailer?
A. There are two style trailers only two are smaller a.Each smaller trailer has 1 sink, 1 urinal and 2 toilets.
b. Each larger trailer has 1 sink, 3 urinal and 4 toilets.

A. See atached

A. Unfortunately, no
Q. I'm not sure of this answer on the Q&A but, how many water tanks all together will this job need?
A. There are currently 5 portable bathrooms that need water fills periodically, 2 are 270 gallon tanks and the other 3 have 500 gallon tanks. We list 10 portable bathrooms on our lisng, because we may purchase up to 5 more during the life of this contract and didn’t want to have to make a contract change.
Q. Is there currently an incumbent and if so what is their name. What's the contract number and what is the contract value?
A. H & L ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES, LLC the Task Order value $36,400.98
Q. Is there a water and power source on locaon?
A. For the portable bathrooms no water source, there is electric. For the portable latrines, depends how remote, no water usually but somemes there is electric on range, not for units.
