About this file

This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for the Illinois Army National Guard (ARNG) Quick Response (QRP) Forklifts Request for Information (RFI), issued by the National Guard Bureau's United States Property and Fiscal Office for Illinois on March 3, 2026.

The document addresses three key clarifications regarding forklift procurement requirements. First, the Government requires only a 12-month/2,000-hour full machine warranty and a 36-month/6,000-hour powertrain warranty, with no additional maintenance agreement required. Second, all forklifts must be new; used equipment will not be considered for award. Third, regarding the 36K forklift load center rating, the Government corrected a solicitation error and specified that only 36-inch or 48-inch load centers are acceptable, rejecting the 24-inch option that was erroneously included in the original solicitation documents.
