SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

The following have been added by full text:

AMENDMENT 0001

a. The purpose of this amendment is to answer the questions from the contractor and add a local clause 5152.204-

4032, REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS as shown below:

(1) Question 1.

In accordance with the Domestic Waste Control Act, Article 25, (5) 2 & (6), a business who has obtained an interim disposal waste business may directly collect and transport wastes for treatment without permission for waste collection and transportation business.

*Refer to the attachment.

Therefore, I wonder if it is acceptable to submit just an Interim waste disposal business license which includes

Collection and Transportation Permit for business-place domestic wastes, as stated in 1,7,10,3 (3) from Solicitation.

Answer 1:

Per the Solicitation, a waste disposal license will be provided therefore an Interim waste disposal license is acceptable with the following requirements (Waste Disposal License remains current throughout period of contract, if contractor’s provided interim license is pending future annual waste disposal license, a proof of submission for annual waste disposal license must be provided)

(2) Question 2.

Based on the above reason, please confirm if we could exclude a copy of contract or agreement between the bidding contractor and off-base waste incineration facilities since we are the interim waste disposal business which owns incineration facilities. This is stated in 1,7,10,3 (b) from the solicitation.

Answer 2:

An agreement form is not applicable for bidding contractors owning incineration facilities. An memo must be provided stating proof of ownership of incineration facilities with incineration cost associated with solid waste disposal for

Kunsan AB.

b. The bid closing date is extended from 30 Oct 2020, 1300 hrs. to 4 Nov 2020, 1300 hrs.

c. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
