AMENDMENT 0002 to Combined Solicitation/Synopsis W91QF0-16-T-2888

The Purpose of this Amendment 0002 to Solicitation W91QF0-16-T-2888 is to answer vendor questions and to adjust the Performance Work Statement accordingly.

1. 24 hour response time is discussed, can you please clarify what qualifies as a response? Is this an acknowledgement of the service request or the performance of the actual service call?

Begin performance of the actual service call

2. Service call availability dictates that should we receive a request by 10:00AM, same day service is required. If the call comes after 10:00AM service must be performed by the next day. Is this regardless of the severity of the call?

Government expects that for the majority of service calls received by 10:00am that a service tech will show up that day, at a minimum no later than 10:00am the next day. If the service call is received after 10:00am then next day response is expected; however, some exceptions can be made for non-critical service issues. *The PWS will be adjusted to reflect this change.

3. Can you please outline what we will be required to provide as it relates to the QCP?

Expectation on the QCP is that the company would articulate their Quality Control Program, ie how they ensure they provide the highest levels of service and workmanship.

4. Do our technicians need to complete AT Level I Training and iWATCH?

Yes, both are required.

5. Would pricing for any outstanding service issues be included in the "Base Year"?

Yes, Correctional Maintenance CLIN 0002 is to include repair of existing issues attributed to wear and tear over years of usage.

6. Can we have our technician come to site to inspect all the outstanding service issues so we can diagnose them and price accordingly prior to the bid submission?

Yes, a follow-up to the site visit to inspect and diagnose existing issues can be arranged by contacting Edward Ruud and Kevin Kauffman via email at edward.a.ruud.civ@mail.mil and kevin.l.kauffman.civ@mail.mil.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF THIS AMENDMENT IS REQUIRED. THE RFQ RESPONSE DATE HAS NOT BEEN CHANGED AS A RESULT OF THIS AMENDMENT.
