About this file
Amendment 0001 addresses three vendor questions regarding a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) solicitation for Albania. The solicitation seeks eight rugged laptops, four portable scanners, and five cameras, set aside for small businesses under NAICS Code 333310 with a size standard of 1000. The government clarified that the procurement supports Albania, is FMS-funded, and does not restrict offerors from other countries from submitting quotes. Vendors are requested to include specification sheets and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) documentation confirming authorized reseller status when submitting their offer.

Amendment 0001 addresses the subsequent questions:
1. Can you please provide the end user agency that will be using the equipment?
Gov’t Response: This supports the country of Albania.
2. Can you please advise if this will be funded by the Navy or FMS?
Gov’t Response: This action is FMS funded.
3. As a company registered in Montenegro, are we eligible to participate in this solicitation and supply the required items (rugged laptops, portable scanners, and cameras) if the items are brand new and fully comply with all the technical specifications outlined in the solicitation documents? Furthermore, is it acceptable to source these items from either Kosovo or Montenegro and deliver them to Albania under the terms of the FMS contract?
Gov’t Response: To address your inquiry, the solicitation does not contain any language that restricts offerors from other countries from submitting a quote.
We kindly request that, when submitting your offer, you include specification sheets as well as documentation from the OEM confirming that you are an authorized reseller.
