About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Ohio Army National Guard Purchasing & Contracting Office for catered meals supporting a Basic Leader Course (BLC) at the 147th Regional Training Institute in Columbus, Ohio, from March 3-25, 2026 (Solicitation Number W91364-26-Q-A019).

The Q&A clarifies critical operational requirements for meal service delivery. All meals must be prepared off-site and delivered ready to serve, as no onsite kitchen is available. The contractor must provide all chafers, heat sources, and serving utensils, while the Government supplies serving line tables. Breakfast and dinner are hot buffet-style service requiring only drop-off and setup with no servers needed. Boxed lunches must arrive on-site no later than 11:30 AM daily. Beverages may be delivered as individual cartons or stored in available walk-in and smaller refrigerators, with no brand restrictions. Any leftover food remains on-site for soldiers to take as desired. These operational parameters directly impact contractor logistics, equipment requirements, and cost structure for bid development.
