1. To keep costs down, are there two open bay sleeping floors or a building available for the vendor/staff with bathrooms (two; one for female and one for male) separate from the Soldiers at:
Camp Ravenna June 13-17
Camp Sherman June 14-18
Camp Ravenna June 21-25
Answer: There are no accommodations for vendors/staff that are separate from the Soldiers,
2. Is there a cost to secure on-base open-bay billet building?
Answer: There are no on base billeting available at this time
3. Are there porta-potty/wash stations available on site at each exercise location (during each time frame) for the vendor/staff to utilize or should it be self-supplied and factored into the costs?
Answer: There are port a pots and hand wash stations available for use by the vendors
4. At what point will the OPORD/Annexes, MSEL's, (Master Scenario Event List) and reporting formats be available to the vendor?
Answer: Exercise Support OPORD is going to be published 15APR15. Some of the annexes will be published at a later date. Not sure what benefit it will be to the vendors. The draft MSEL is compiled. There will be minor changes all the way up to the exercise. The MSEL is not something that we distribute.
What reporting formats are being referenced? Again, it is unlikely that this is something that will be distributed to vendors.
5. Will commercial, secured Mi-Fi/Wi-Fi be allowable on the camps to process timesheets, coordinate staff, and update leadership?
Answer: Yes, you may use MiFi/WiFi as required
6. At what point will frequencies and channels for walkie-talkie-type communications need to be submitted for clearance?
Answer: If "walkie-talkie-type Communications" references the type that you buy at a department store, then I do not see any need for an approval process for those. If it references equipment such as MARCs radios, then that would be something that the G6 would incorporate into their spectrum management plan that they are writing now.
7. Will base access, and badges be provided by the host for access to get back on to camp in the instance of food, fuel and water runs (during the day) and shuttles to hotels, or in case of emergency at night if needed?
Answer: There will be a centralized parking area and shuttles will run between the training area and main gate
8. Is there a location reserved (at each base, during each time) for a five-tent-type camp? Temporary fencing available? Locked storage available onsite for the mannequins (such as a connex)?
Answer: Camp Ravenna - No location has been planned, but there is room to put the tents up if necessary. We will not be providing the tents. The installation is encompassed by fencing, but there will be no fencing immediately surrounding vendor equipment. There is no locked storage currently planned.
Camp Sherman - no location has been planned, but there is room available on the range side of the installation for vendor tents to be set up. We will not be providing tents. There is fencing along the road, but fencing will not encompass the vendor tents. There is no locked storage currently planned.
9. Are open fires, or grills (cook lunch for crew) available on the bases?
Answer: This would have to be pre coordinated with the POCs at the respective post
10. Will there be a potable water trailer available for vendors to use?
Answer: Potable water trailers will be available on site for the durations of the exercises.
