About this file
This document is an Amendment to Solicitation W912WJ25QA093 issued by the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) New England District for replacing wall-hung air conditioning units. The amendment extends the solicitation response deadline to September 17, 2025 at 5:00 PM Eastern and provides detailed responses to 22 industry questions covering technical, administrative, and procedural aspects of the project.
Key details include replacing existing non-functional wall-hung air conditioning units rated at 36,000 BTUH cooling, with units to be installed per specifications. The project is tax-exempt and prevailing wage. Contractors must hold appropriate licenses for work performed, with specific requirements around project roles like Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) and Quality Control Manager. The Quality Control Manager must be on-site full-time during construction. No preventative maintenance is required beyond the one-year workmanship warranty, and the contractor is not responsible for occupant comfort if units are installed according to specifications.
