REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
QUESTION 1: Is there a current incumbent, if so, what was the contract award?
RESPONSE 1: The previous contract was awarded to Cota & Cota Inc. in the amount of $24,020.00
QUESTION 2: How quickly after each delivery is the payment made and how?
RESPONSE 2: Payment terms are net 30 days after receipt of a proper invoice. Invoices shall be sent to the Technical Point of Contact after deliveries are made. Invoices shall be in accordance with the “Payment” section of the Supply Requirement and accompanied by delivery tickets that indicate the location, type of fuel, number of gallons delivered, unit price per the awarded contract, and total amount due.
QUESTION 3: How much No. 2 Heating Oil and LP Gas was ordered in Gallons last year and the year before?
RESPONSE 4: The Government is under no obligation to provide number of gallons used in previous years. This requirement is for up to the maximum number of gallons specified in the Supply Requirement. There is no guarantee that the maximum number of gallons indicated will be used; however the awarded Contractor will be obligated to provide up to the total number of gallons specified in the requirement.
QUESTION 5: Do you fill or top off these tanks monthly? If so, what is the average size order each month?
RESPONSE 5: Refer to the Supply Requirement, page 7 of the solicitation. Tanks will be filled on a monthly basis or at the special request of the Technical Point of Contact. Total number of gallons required per month can vary. The Government is under no obligation to provide an average size of order each month.
QUESTION 6: Will a tanker truck fit on site at all of the locations?
RESPONSE 6: Yes, a standard tanker truck will fit at all locations. However, coordinating delivery with the TPOC is important as these locations are subject to inclement weather and may need to first undergo snow removal for safe access.
QUESTION 7: Do you require a pump at any of these locations?
W912WJ25Q0018
RESPONSE 7: No, a pump is not required at any location as there is access for standard tanker trucks.
QUESTION 8: Can we bid on the Heating Oil only?
RESPONSE 8: Interested vendors shall provide pricing for all items included in the solicitation.
Failure to do so will result in quotes being deemed non-responsive.
QUESTION 9: Are the tanks underground or above ground?
RESPONSE 9: All tanks are located above ground or within buildings. The tanks located within buildings have external filling nozzles so tanks can be filled outside of the building.
QUESTION 10: Vermont has a rule about oil tanks and inspections, which fuel can not be delivered to faulty tanks, they must be inspected. Have these oil tanks been up to date inspected?
RESPONSE 10: Tanks have not been inspected by the Government. If the awarded Contractor, or their supplier requires the tanks to be inspected prior to delivery, then that is the responsibility of the awarded Contractor or their supplier. The Government will not pay for these inspections.
