About this file
This is Amendment 0002 to solicitation W912WJ25B0003 for Concrete Repairs at Blackwater Dam in Webster, NH, issued by the US Army Corps of Engineers New England District. The amendment provides responses to contractor questions and clarifies that the FRP liner in the conduits is not included in the scope of work - only the conduit bullnose requires repair per Section 03 01 00.
Key details clarified include: time period restrictions apply for the bullnose concrete repair work (referenced in Section 01 11 00); historical stream elevations between mid-June through September are 516 feet +/- 3 feet; a job site trailer is not required; no utilities or water access will be provided on site; a bid bond is required per clause 52.228-1; and scaffolding is allowed at the dam face but contractors must prevent damage to existing structures and properly fill/seal any concrete penetrations needed for securing scaffolding. The amendment has an effective date of November 29, 2024, and does not extend the original solicitation response deadline.
