Amendment 3 to W912WJ-17-R-0010 Requests for Information
1. [Question] Current solicitation requires registration of professional architect or engineer in each design discipline. Question regarding the Project Manager – Does a PMP certification satisfy the registration requirement for a Project Manager, since that position is responsible for managing the team and not executing the actual design work done by each discipline? We note that the Corps of Engineers, in other Districts or Divisions, has accepted PMP certification as satisfactory registration for the Project Manager position for other large, complex programs (i.e. Huntsville Center, for the recent procurement for A-E services for worldwide Missile Defense facilities).
[Answer] Professional registration as an Engineer or Architect is required for the Project Manager.
2. [Question] The submittal allows for “one supplemental page (up to 11” X 17” single sided) may be provided to present photos and/or plans from each project.” Can you clarify if this is one 11 x 17 page for all 10 projects or if each project can include an additional 11 x 17 page, totaling 10 additional pages?
[Answer] Allowance was for one supplemental page for each project. It is up to each firm as to whether they want to use that allowance or not.
Note: The government contemplates issuing a fourth amendment to answer questions regarding conflicts of interest. The government does not plan to extend the response period. Responses remain due on 19 April 2017.
