About this file
This document is a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) file for the Annual Training Meals federal contract opportunity. The FAQ addresses two key questions from potential bidders regarding the solicitation requirements. The first question sought clarification about establishing an onsite facility, to which the government responded that they will be in buildings for both locations and do not require tents. The second question confirmed that the caterer will not be serving meals, but will only be delivering meals that the unit will serve themselves. No tents, tables, or chairs are needed from the caterer. The responses indicate a straightforward meal delivery requirement without additional service infrastructure.

FAQ – Annual Training Meals
Question: We are interested in bidders for the opportunity titled Annual Training Meals under Notice ID: W912TF25QA005. Upon reviewing the solicitation, we would like to seek clarification regarding Section 5, Page 2 of the Scope of Work. It states: "The contractor shall set up and maintain an onsite facility (tent or comparable structure) to carry out the requirements of the SOW."
Could you please confirm whether any electrical work is required when establishing the tent or comparable structure? Specifically, are there any requirements for lighting, power supply, or electrical hookups that the contractor must provide?
Answer: We will be in buildings for both locations and therefore do not need tents. The unit has tables to put the food on when it arrives at its location. We were expecting a food drop off sort of situation. We will be “in the field” therefore do not need tables and chairs to sit at and set up by a caterer.
Question: Is there a facility for the caterer to serve the meals or do they need to provide a tent, tables, chairs, etc.?
The caterer will not be serving meals to the unit. Unit will have meals delivered and serve themselves. There will not be a facility for the caterer as they will not be serving meals. The caterer does not need to provide any tents, table or chairs.
