Wayfinding Display Directory
1. Are there any specifications for the installation? Is this to be installed by the contractor?
Answer: The front and rear displays will need to be mounted on 5/8” drywall with metal studding. This installation will be completed by the contractor. See section 4(b) of Statement of Work. The contractor is not responsible for hooking up the units to power. Please provide the power specifications and the State of New Hampshire will do any construction necessary to provide power to the mounted monitors and pedestal displays.
2. Details on warranty for the hardware? Onsite warranty? 1 year? 5 year?
Answer: The hardware should come with the standard warranty. The customer is not looking to purchase any additional warranties.
3. There is a "case" specified in the RFP for the dual screens - are there any details on that case?
The material? Dimensions?
Answer: Each case just needs to house two (2) 43” monitors. Maximum size is 80” by 80”. Materials are non-specific and can include glass, steel or wood. The customer desires something visually appealing to encase the monitors on the wall.
4. What security clearances are required to bid on this project?
Answer: None
5. Is this project Prevailing Wage?
Answer: No
6. Is Union labor required?
7. The RFQ references NHARNG will provide the floor layout
a. Would you please provide?
Answer: Floor layout will be provided after contract award.
b. If unable to provide layout
i. Can measurements please be taken between the MDF and position of each display?
Answer: All networking will be provided by State of New Hampshire via Wired (CAT 5/6) or Wireless. Wireless is Preferred.
8. Can NHARNG please text pictures of:
a. MDF Answer: No on MDF. Pictures will be posted of the display areas
b. Trace patch management to boards Answer: N/A - Provided by State of New Hampshire
c. Each location where displays will be stationed Answer: Building 1, Concord, NH. Main/Rear/Staircase. Main and Rear entryways look virtually the same. Picture provided is of main entryway.

9. Are there drop ceilings throughout the facility?
a. Are fiber runs able to be pulled through the ceiling Answer: No fiber cables will be used
10. Would you please confirm whether contractor is responsible for full implementation including:
a. Providing all labor and cabling from MDF to display locations
i. Is there currently conduit present or does the contractor need to provide
Answer: Yes there is currently conduit, however wireless is preferred.
Contractor is responsible for providing either wireless or CAT 5/6 capability.
Wiring will be done by the State of New Hampshire.
b. Providing all displays: Six (6) 43” displays Answer: Yes, Wireless Preferred
c. Providing two (2) Side-by-side cases for the Vestibule displays Answer: Yes, Wireless Preferred
d. Providing two (2) Pedestal enclosures Answer: Yes, Wireless Preferred
e. Install required software and provide programming Answer: Yes, Wireless Preferred
11. The RFQ references the Stairwells/Staircases
a. How many stairwells will have pedestals & displays?
Answer: 2
b. Are the two displays in a single pedestal?
Answer: No, 2 displays are for the front wall mount and 2 displays are for the rear wall mount. Single displays will be in each pedestal enclosure.
c. Are pedestals on first and second floor?
Answer: No, on second floor only
i. Are there additional displays that will be required?
