About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document related to a solicitation for rental of Non-Tactical Vehicles (NTVs) for SOCEUR CMSE. The document addresses vendor inquiries about vehicle specifications and requirements.

Two key clarifications are provided: 1) Vehicles are not required to have BiH license plates and other legally compliant registrations are acceptable, and 2) Only 4x4 vans are acceptable for the cargo vans requirement, with explicit confirmation that the Opel Vivaro with 2WD transmission is not an acceptable option. The responses emphasize multiple times that 4x4 transmission is mandatory for the cargo vans, and no exceptions will be made for 2WD vehicles.

Questions and Answers from Interested Vendors

- Due to the limitations of the local market, I would like to ask the following questions:

o Must vehicles have BiH license plates, or are other legally compliant registrations also acceptable?

Yes, it is acceptable o Must cargo vans be 4x4 or is RWD acceptable?

Only 4x4 Vans are acceptable.

- I am writing in reference to section 4.2.1, Vehicle Specification, Item A002 of the solicitation. The specification requests 4x4 transmission for the two Cargo Vans, but one of the referenced vehicle types, the Opel Vivaro, is supplied by the manufacturer with 2WD transmission only. A 4x4 variant would require an aftermarket conversion.

If Opel Vivaro, is supplied by the manufacturer with 2WD transmission only, this is NOT an option for the RA.

o Please clarify and confirm whether the two Cargo Vans requested under this solicitation are required to have 4x4 transmission.

Only 4x4 Vans are acceptable.
