STATEMENT OF WORK
Buckhorn Boat Ramp Reconstruction – Scope of Work
The project scope includes removal of the existing boat ramp, construction of a new boat ramp, storm sewer construction, concrete and asphalt pavement construction, and removal of an outcropping along the road to the boat ramp. The new ramp will be constructed to near winter pool and connect to the existing ramp lower extent to accommodate both summer and winter pool access.
With the rock outcropping removal a weathering shale exposed rock face is to be treated with shotcrete to eliminate or greatly reduce the rock face deterioration.
To improve drainage, concrete ditches, curbs, and flumes will be incorporated to prevent erosion of the embankment slope on the reservoir side of the ramp. Runoff from the adjacent mountainside will be intercepted and routed to reduce the amount of storm flow that traverses the boat ramp pavement areas.
A bid option will add asphalt milling and overlay for a portion of the existing trailer parking area.
