Q. For the main gate entrance non‐motorized sliding gate that will be converted to a motorized sliding gate, where will power be pulled from?
A. There is a panel that can be used to pull power from in the guard shack adjacent to the gate we are adding the motor to. We verified there is room for the additional circuit in the existing panel. The entire area is on backup power so no additional tie‐ins are required to provide emergency power.
Additionally there is a conduit that can be used to run the electric that comes out right next to the column where the motor would be placed. It is single phase 220 V power.
