What are the specifications of the existing 12 cameras (make, model)?

Unknown. The cameras are a mixture of different makes, models and specs.

1) Are there any specs specified for the new cameras? (make/model, NDAA compliant etc.)

At least a 4k (8MP) image sensor, remote zoom and focus, automatic IR-cut filter for night vision, audio capabilities with localization. All cameras and software must conform with Engineer Regulation 1110-1-8162, and no components can be listed on the DOD prohibited VSE list.

2) Are there any particular “analytics” desired by USACE?

Anomaly detection, graphical maps, audio analytics, object detection, time analytics with alarm settings, and “machine learning” capabilities.

3) What are the locations of these cameras and distances from the monitoring station (NVR/DVR)?

The HQ monitoring station is on the premises, and the Engineer Yard is approximately 3.4 miles from the HQ (where the monitoring station is located).

4) Are layout drawings of the location available?

There are no digital layouts available; only paper copies of the HQ layout are available.

5) Do they show the locations of the five new cameras? (three to be replaced and two new) The locations where the new/replacements are going to be are not currently marked on any diagrams.

6) What are the specifications of the “……computer/server containing a 24 Terra Byte internal hard drive for net-storage and review of footage.” as mentioned in the SOW?

At least 1 GB network connection, preloaded with security certificates. Able to handle 50+ cameras and be able to be integrated with different sites/cameras, servers if need be.

7) We are not expected to offer a server and use the above existing server, correct?

The server listed in question 6 is the one we are expecting to use.

8) For remote viewing, this capability is required for how many desktops and cellphones?

At least 2 desktops and 3 mobile phones to start, with the capability to add more if necessary.

9) Is a monitor required to be provided by us? If yes, what size and specs?

No.

10) Do you currently utilize any VMS (Video Management System) software? If yes, please provide the name and version.

The current system is a Pelco DS Control Point ver. 7.7.309.

11) Does this VMS provide any forensic video analytics and alert capabilities?

No forensics. There is an alert capability, but it was never used and now the system is too old for use.

12) Have you shortlisted or suggest any VMS / other software with forensic video and alert capabilities?

No.
