1. Can you clarify if the numbers in circles noted on A2-Office Descriptive Diagram have significance to the furniture and walls that we are to propose? I show the numbers highlighted on the attached plan for your reference.. 1 is “provide new receptacle and data drop”. 3 is “site light window” Also, please note that the setup is backward on the two new offices; we don’t want our backs to the door.

2. The examples of the modular walls that were provided show the walls with a white finish. Please confirm that you would like the walls to match the color of the existing walls (light grey) with off-white frames and wood finish doors. Please provide finish options for the walls that match the color, finish, laminate for the group. Finish should match up to the cubicle wall fabrics currently utilized.

3. Please confirm that the reception area is to have the same configuration as it currently is. Correct -the reception area is to have the same configuration

4. Are we to use the front entrance doors for the delivery of new furniture and walls and for the removal of the existing items? No, front entrance will only be utilized for contractor check in, check out.

Utilize the rear doors at the back by loading dock for all deliveries and work. They are closest to the work site as well.

5. Is there a staging area in the parking lot where we can drop a storage container if needed? Yes. We can block off an area for this.

6. Page 5 of the Performance Work Statement, Section I - 1.2 Description, notes the following:

“The Contractor shall also be responsible for the following: Demo/Install of all DATA cables/lines, Install/Demo of all electrical work, Demo/Install of all Utility work (Fire Suppression, HVAC, Lighting, Electrical)” Please confirm that we are only to install new DATA cable/lines and electrical work for the two new offices and that we can re-use the existing DATA cable/lines and electrical in the four offices and reception space. As long as the existing lines and electrical are not damaged they can be reused in the existing office areas. Any damaged DATA/Electrical shall be replaced by contractor.

7. Please note that AIS does not have a line of full-height demountable walls for the partition walls that are required for the two new offices. We will be providing a proposal for those walls that are equal to the walls shown in the examples that you provided. We will be providing the system furniture from AIS. - Acknowledged

8. Page 7 of the Performance Work Statement, Section II – 2.4 Disassembly, notes the following:

“The default intent for the Government is to reuse the furniture if the Government subjectively deems the furniture is in suitable condition. If furniture cannot be feasibly disassembled and be reused, then Contractor is to notify Government Project Manager for direction.”

Please confirm that we are to remove and dispose of all furniture in the four existing offices and the reception area and provide new furniture. Correct. Office’s will be cleared out and any remaining furniture shall be disposed of.

9. Please confirm that the replacement of the four existing offices is to be in the base bid and not as an option. The replacement of the four existing offices is in the base bid and not an option.

10. What is the preferred size for the whiteboards that are noted in the requirements? 4X3

11. Please confirm that the period of performance is 90(ninety days from date of contract award ads noted on page 5 of the Performance Work Statement - 1.2 Description and not 45 days as noted on page 3 of the solicitation document. The Period of Performance is 90 days

12. How far is the communications closet and the electrical panel from the front area where the high-density shelving is currently located? Approximately 65’ -75’ feet away

13. What type of patch panels are in the comm closet? Standard patch panel
