About this file

This document is a comprehensive federal wage determination for construction work in Ventura County, California, effective September 2025. The wage determination covers multiple construction trades and classifications, including laborers, equipment operators, truck drivers, electricians, painters, plumbers, and other specialized workers. Wage rates vary by job classification, with hourly rates ranging from approximately $40 to $70, and additional fringe benefits included. The document provides detailed wage information for work performed on military bases, specific geographic zones, and different types of construction projects, including waterway and marine construction, highway work, and building improvements.

The wage determination includes special provisions for work on military installations like Naval Air Station Point Mugu, with premium pay rates for certain locations and conditions. It specifies different wage rates for various skill levels within each trade, accounting for factors such as equipment operation complexity, work environment, and specialized tasks. The document also outlines holiday provisions, classification-specific work scopes, and geographic zone differentials. Additional compensation is provided for work on military bases, in hazardous conditions, and for specific types of equipment or project complexity. The wage rates are set to be updated periodically and are applicable to federal construction contracts in the specified region.
