This solicitation is for the design and construction of a 46,801 square foot single story Squadron Operations and Test Facility at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. The project includes reinforced concrete foundations, a concrete floor slab, structural steel frame, split faced concrete masonry units, gypsum wallboard, and a standing seam metal roof. An additional 800 square foot single story Information Transfer Building will also be constructed. The facilities will house operations areas, support areas, sensitive compartmentalized information facilities, special access program facilities, and communications support functions. All required utilities, communications, site improvements, pavements, electrical systems, HVAC systems, fire detection and protection features, security enhancements, backup power generation, and other supporting work to make the facilities complete and useable are included. The facilities must be designed and constructed in accordance with DoD UFC 1-200-01 for permanent construction and comply with DoD antiterrorism and force protection requirements in UFC 4-010-01. The total contract performance period is 720 calendar days from receipt of the notice to proceed.
