The following have been added by full text:
AMENDMENT 0001
The purpose of this amendment is as follows:
a) To delete the Performance Work Statement (PWS) in its entirety and replace it with the hereby attached PWS which is made part of this solicitation,
b) To add FAR provisions 52.204-24 “Representation Regarding Certain
Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment (Aug 2020” and
52.204-26 “Covered Telecommunications Equipment or Services – Representation (Dec
2019) and FAR clause 52.204-25 “Prohibition on Contracting for Certain
Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment (Aug 2020)” in full text;
c) To revise the list of attachments, and
d) To reply to the Request for Information (RFI) submitted by the quoters. See below:
Question:
Would it be possible to obtain some more information regarding the characteristics of LPS systems?
Answer:
Attachment #7 Drawings (14 sheets) and Attachment #8 Drawings (10 sheets) are provided together with this amendment.
Where can we find an explanation of the abbreviations used in the LPS system table starting on page 70 of the Solicitation (Specific Tasks)? In particular, in the "Type" column there are abbreviations such as CDS, ECM, AGM, MTL / AGM, PAD, SWS, MILVAN and others. What types of systems do they indicate?
CDS, ECM, AGM, MTL / AGM, PAD, SWS, MILVAN are the descriptions and acronyms respectively of (Child Developing Center) (Earth Cover Magazine) (Above Ground Magazine)
(MeTaL Above Ground Magazine) (Pad) (Surveillance) (Pad cover by metal canopy)
From an administrative point of view, how can an "Organismo Certificatore di Tipo A" declare to the Italian State this type of activity required by this contract?
We ask certifications and the Govern will pay for that, nothing else.
The documents certifications must be in strict accordance with the rules listed at point 6 of PWS and not constrained to notification to external entities.
I’d like to ask to you if earthing plant inspections (earth resistance measurement, continuity, RCD tests etc.) are to be performed according US military standards, as LPS I saw today, or following italian law DPR 462/01.
The required standard certification is showed in Paragraph.6 of PWS.
No notification to external bodies is required. The technical report (signed and stamped) is for internal use and must be comply with required standard, identifying the most restrictive one.
e) To revise Addendumd to FAR 52.212-1, and
f) To extend the due-in date from 03 September 2020, 12:00 p.m. “noon” (local time, Rome, Italy) to 08 Septemer 2020, 12:00 p.m. “noon” (local time, Rome, Italy).
