Requests for Information (Questions and Answers, Attachment #8)

1) KTR’s Question: as per PWS, contractor will be responsible to dispose all the waste, resulting from maintenance services. As per Italian law companies that provide this services shall have the registration as waste intermediary art. 8 from Italian chamber of trade in their "visura camerale”. Is this registration requested? If yes do we have to provide “visura camerale” included of ART. 8 in our offer?

GVT’s Answer: Replace the Performance Work Statement (PWS) "Mission Essential Equipment

Maintenance & Repair - March 2018 (DC 1405190900)" with the PWS "Mission Essential

Equipment Maintenance & Repair - July 2019 (see paragraph 1.4.2.6 Hazardous Material

Management).

2) KTR’s Question: As per PWS, contractor had to use "CMMS (Computerized Maintenance

Management System) database building, maintenance information updating, and historical data tracking". Please confirm if this requirement is correct? If yes is it available any training company in Italy that can train our Adm. people? Has CMMS Italian version to use?

GVT’s Answer: The CMMS is required to track all equipment along with maintenance and inspection of each item. The program is in English but there is Italian training on-line that can be completed by the contractor. The contractor is not responsible for buying the license for use.

AFSBn Africa will provide the login and password. However, data input as per the PWS and any training they feel is needed will be the responsibility of the contractor. The COR will assist if needed.

3) KTR’s Question: as per FORM 1449 Pag. 124-125 (Limit of liability) all emergency services

(hs+materials) below 300 euro is also included and they will not be refunded, is it correct? If yes could you please provide us all the historical information available on this emergency services below 300 euro in last years of this contract (tot hrs - what you consider emergency - parts changed- %hrs - % material). Without all these information it would be very difficult calculate an average and right estimation on the risk + costs to assume in performing emergencies.

GVT’s Answer: The paragraph relating to the limit of liability has been deleted.

4) KTR’s Question: FORM 1449 Item 0004. The quantity of 480 hours (2h per working day more or less) per year are estimated for this contract for emergencies, is that high number of emergencies hours correct?

GVT’s Answer: The description of CLINs 0004, 1004, 2004, 3004, 4004, 0005, 1005, 2005, 3005 and 4005 has been changed; in addition, the contract type of the mentioned
