About this file
This amendment modifies a solicitation for small arms maintenance courses. The solicitation is issued by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Army Contracting Command and seeks courses to train soldiers on small arms maintenance.
The amendment responds to a question regarding inspection requirements by clarifying that security checks of employees are required every eight hours and last between fifteen to thirty minutes, with the frequency depending on whether employees are working standard business days and hours or weekends. When employees are working, checks are conducted in the morning, afternoon, and evening, and on weekends checks are performed once every eight hours. When no training courses are being conducted, one contractor must visit every eight hours to perform security checks.

This Amendment 0005 is to respond to a question.
Question 13: Question related to the Inspection CLIN 0003. We would like to confirm the specifics of the inspection schedule. Could you kindly provide us with information regarding the frequency and duration of the inspections? Specifically, we are seeking clarity on whether the inspections are scheduled at three instances per day, each lasting one hour, with an interval of eight hours between them. Alternatively, if the inspection duration is expected to be longer than initially understood, kindly elaborate on the revised timeframe.
Question 13 Response: The security checks are required every 8 hours and last anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes. The frequency depends on whether or not the employees are at work. If they are at work from their scheduled time Monday through Friday on a standard work week a security check performed in the morning and in the afternoon while on duty the addition security check is performed in the evening.
On the weekends, security checks should be performed 1 time every 8 hours. Also during the weeks that the contractor is not teaching, one contractor has to come in every 8 hours to perform the security checks.
