About this file
This is a Quote Schedule for a supply contract solicitation for a 3D-printed physical model of Lock and Dam 25. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Louis District, is seeking a single deliverable: a 3D-printed physical model of the Lock and Dam 25 New 1200-ft Lock Project, to be used as a communication and outreach tool for technical and non-technical stakeholders. The contractor must provide printing, assembly, packaging, and delivery of the completed model within 90 days of contract issuance, with pricing to be submitted on a firm, fixed-price basis per unit (EA).
The contract specifies that all articles, materials, equipment, and components incorporated into the deliverable—including printed model components, transport cases, hardware, coatings, adhesives, and labels—must be new and unused unless otherwise specified. All materials must be suitable for their intended use and subject to Contracting Officer approval. Testing of materials, if required, shall conform to approved modern methods and be conducted at the contractor's expense with no separate payment. The contractor's production equipment, tooling, and fabrication machinery are excluded from this requirement as they are not deliverable end items.

| NOTE 3: Quality of Articles, Materials and Equipment. |
| Articles, materials, and equipment to be incorporated into the work under the contract shall be new and unused unless otherwise specified. All materials, supplies or articles required in the work shall be suitable size and type for the intended use. Tests of these items may be required, but such items will be subject to the approval of the Contracting Officer. Testing if necessary shall be in conformity with approved modern methods for the particular items and class of work. Except as otherwise provided, all costs of all tests, exclusive of the expenses of the Contracting Officer, shall be borne by the Contractor and no separate payment will be made therefore. For purposes of this contract, "articles, materials, and equipment to be incorporated into the work" means the deliverable end items and their constituent components, including, but not limited to, printed model components, transport cases, hardware, coatings, adhesives, and labels. This requirement applies to the delivered product, not to the contractor's production equipment, tooling, or fabrication machinery, which are not deliverable end items under this contract and are not required to be new. |
