Questions and Government Answers

1. It asks for Hourly pricing, per gallon pricing and Mobilization pricing per unit per treatment. It also asks for a total – so I assume we are to make a guess on hours to be used and gallons of product?

a. Government Answer: Correct. Prospective contractors may schedule a site visit at the Rivers Project Office to inspect units. This may provide insight and assist in properly estimating a bid. Contact: Josh Pierce, Joshua.D.Pierce@usace.army.mil, 314-435-7550

2. Essentially, are we are giving a lump sum price breaking it out by hours and gallons?

a. Government Answer: Correct. A total for each item in the Pricing Schedule is requested.

3. I assume that the pricing schedule is for hourly, gallons, and job. It will be hard to state how many hours and how many gallons will be needed to cover 287 acres. I guess what I 'm asking is which pricing sheet should be submitted?

a. Government Answer: The pricing schedule is broken into separate units to inform prospective contractors on specific items and to provide clarity to the government on an allocation of dollars for each item. A total for each item in the Pricing Schedule is requested.

Prospective contractors may schedule a site visit at the Rivers Project Office to inspect units. This may provide insight and assist in properly estimating a bid.

Contact: Josh Pierce, Joshua.D.Pierce@usace.army.mil, 314-435-7550

4. How will payment be issued? Will it be issued monthly due to services being needed every month or will payment be rendered after the entire job has been completed, from July 2025-November?

a. Government Answer: Monthly invoices may be submitted to the government over the life of the contract. The sum of all submitted invoices shall not to exceed the total contract amount. A detailed description of line items and work completed will be requested with each invoice.

5. We are interested in the attached RFP in Missouri. However, we would like to use an NDAA compliant spray drone to treat much of the area. We have been using this drone for targeted spot treatment and would like to implement it on this project. It is permissible to use a NDAA compliant spray drone to deliver herbicide to the areas specified?

a. Government Answer: Drone application to serve this contract is not permissible.

6. Will the government be providing the herbicide?

a. No, the Contractor shall provide all materials necessary to perform the work as described in the

PWS.
