About this file
This document contains answers from the government to contractor questions regarding a federal solicitation for the Cahokia Heights Sanitary Sewer Trunkline project. The solicitation seeks bids for cleaning, inspecting, and rehabilitating existing sewer lines and manholes using cured-in-place pipe lining. The government will locate and uncover currently buried manholes to provide contractor access. Bidders should assume flows based on existing utilities and make efforts to maintain service usage during work, with bypass requirements outlined in specifications. Exact material of existing pipes must be confirmed during preparatory procedures. The city will provide a staging area for waste storage and assist with outlining construction easements.
