Questions and Answers
Question- I want to clarify the procedure most commercial terminal utilize to load the different blend ratios of biodiesel. This procedure is that when a driver pulls into the terminal he programs the computer for 7,000 gallons of B-10 therefore there is 700 gallons of B99.99 dyed loaded into a compartment (there are typically 5 compartments) and then he would load 6,300 gallons of dyed ULSD into all 5 compartments. This procedure is typical in the industry and when the entire load is dropped into an end users storage tank, it is a 7,000 gallon load of B-10 dyed biodiesel. I only ask about this procedure as if the COE were to take a sample off of one of our tankers instead of off the COE-64 they might see a straight ULSD dyed sample and a B-50 sample as they were taken from compartments and not from the barge.
Answer-Samples will be taken of the product being put into CE-64. Not from tankers on-site.
Question- Will there be any third parties involved?
Answer-3rd party is not required; unless needed to meet USCG requirements
Question- Is the B10 correct?
Answer-B-10 is correct.
